What free means here
Everything on the site is free: search, the years, the A-Z list, every title page, every season page, My List and the app. There is no account and no paywall between you and any page. When you press Watch now, the list of services for your country includes the free ad-supported services, which are marked as free, alongside the subscription services and the stores that rent or sell. For a film from the 2000s, the free option is there in most countries; for a film that opened last month, the rental is usually the only option for a while.
Finding the free titles
Choose your country on any title page and it stays chosen. Then the Watch now list on every title tells you at a glance whether a free service carries it. The free services carry a great deal of the classics collection and the 2000s shelf, which is the deep end of the site, and a good share of the long-running series. The newest releases arrive on free services months after the subscription services, so for those the new movies page is where the rentals live.
Free movies online free putlocker
That phrase, typed exactly like that, is one of the most common ways people arrive. The answer it wants is a catalogue that can be searched for free and a button that shows where each film plays for free where you are. That is the site. Search is on every page, the years and genres are one tap away, and the country menu on each title page is what turns the Watch now list into your list.
Free on a phone
The app is free, installs from the site in two taps, and carries your list and your country with it. Free services have their own phone apps, and Watch now opens the title in the service's app when it is installed, which is where it plays in full HD with the service's subtitles and its own download button for offline viewing.
Free and legal
The free services on the Watch now list are licensed services paying for the titles they carry with advertising. That is what makes free viewing legal in your country, and it is why the free options differ between countries. The safe and legal page has the longer version.
